Minister of Domestic Turkey: 217 dead due to earthquake

ANKARA - The death toll in bermagnitud 7.2 earthquake in Turkey continues to grow. Turkish Interior Minister stated, the death toll is currently carrying 217 peopleand injured 1090 others.

Turkish Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin, Monday (24/10/2011), states, as many as100 people were killed in the city of Van and 117 people were killed in the District ofpeas, the Province of Van, while 1090 others were injured.
